Dear Resident, A burglary has occurred between the hours of 00:00 on 29/08/25 to 10:30 hours on 30/08/25 in the area of Stockton Road. Entry was gained through the back door breaking the lock and a black mercedes was taken. Always lock all doors and windows. Double check that your key fob has locked the car and remove all valuables from within. Keep house and car keys away from the letterbox and public view in a signal-proof (faraday) pouch, including spare keys. Cancel deliveries if you are away for anything more than one evening.Consider “beware of the dog”, “property marking in place” or “vehicle tracked” signage. Make your home appear occupied: draw curtains and leave a light on. Use timers for lights and radios when you leave the house.
